This is yet another of my theories. yet this is not based on any science... well no science that i usually associate with myself.
Songs. real songs. Is the language of spirit, and the voice of the soul.
Songs that are inspired. that mean something real. It's not something one can describe so another can know what they mean. It is something to be experienced.
So if songs and music is the language of spirit. God can use this language. To speak to us as humans. To speak to our soul. to heal. to encourage. to strengthen. to show joy.
Thus, just like the mind, the spirit, sub-consciousness, the soul, and time;
It is not of this world... But of Gods.

suicidal galahs and driving
recently in my wonderful four month holidays i have enjoyed family trips, beaches, meeting new people, movies, re-newing friendships, driving places and catching up with friends.
In the past week i have been able to catch up with two of my boarding friends. The first was sexy mezz. my folks dropped me off in horsham where mezz picked me up and we went back to AS i drove home this morning i travelled past a galah that was sitting in the middle of the opposite lane and didn't even flinch when myself and a couple of other cars drove past. I then came to the conclusion that the galah was suicidal.
This summer i've also driven to portland with a friend, Elijah. We were asked to be leaders at a youth camp. And because i had my p's i drove us both down there. it's was a good drive, and i thought i did well to stay awake on the way home.
I was SOO TIRED, and as a result we stopped numerous times.....
In the next couple of weeks i will be making a move to melbourne. My university offers went very well and i have decided to take up a place at Victoria University, doing science. So i'm really looking forward to this opportunity. Altho it does suck majorly that ALL my friends, or soo it seems, are moving to adelaide and i could've been able to live with two of them as we all could've gone to the same university.... but oh well...
SO the next couple years will be filled with lots of driving. To ballarat, melbourn and adelaide. Cos this will be the first year that none of the children in the family will be living at home...

it is done...
i've officially finished skool for about a week now.
i can officially make the statement that i USED to go to skool...
it's an amazing relief to know that u don't have to remember how to dialate or translate a graph... which i so happened to suck at... i now never have to learn an excercise i happened to miss in the course the night before an exam that i know there will be these questions on...
it's an amazing relief to know that i never have to sit in a classroom again wearing a uniform.
to have yr12 finished is a humungus relief, and load off my shoulders.
altho its also a bit sad, cos i have to leave all my friends in lower yr levels at skool.... and i wont see my boarding friends very often from now on... and to be honest, that hurts...
but now it's time to forget the stress, the tears, and the hardwork and to relax, and think of sweet nothing!!

Another one of anges nerdy theories....
well... i was wondering the other day.... probably while doing some chemistry study that why if water vaporises at 100 degrees why then don't we get burnt when water evaporates from our skin?????????
and thanks to the wonderful Robbie G i now know why...
it's because water doesn't have to evaporate at 100 degrees. as the particles move some jump above the surface of the water and evaporate...it's just that at 25 degrees we cant really see this....and it takes A LOT LONGER to do so....
so there's my random chem fact for today....
say W00T for chemistry!!! hehehehe

life's meaningless questions...
This has been a topic i have been pondering recently... it's probably my body's defence against all the information that i have been forcing myself into learning with exams and all that jazz...
my brother posed the question to me the other day and i've been asking people since.... are bubbles perfect spheres?????
and when does a hill become a mountain? Whats the difference b/w a big hill and a small mountain???
How long does it take for paint to dry????
At what rate does grass actually grow???
How slow does a snail actually travel???
zebra's.... are they black with white stripes, or white with black stripes???
how long is a giraffe's neck???
how many vending machines do u rekon there would be in France?
is chocolate better from Belgium?????
Has someone ever done a study on these sorts of things????
and all that funn stuff... i could sit here for ages coming up with meaningless questions...
Enjoy!

the ending of a chapter
Thursday was the marking of a historic moment..
Thursday saw the day that i finished with skool 4EVA!!!!!
It was the best day i'd had at school ever. not just cos it was my last day of classes for ever...but we felt valued and not just being taken for granted, that we actually made a contribution. People were signing shirts and messages of good luck and good will.
The feeling of joy we all shared was so relaxing. The whole day the atmosphere was great and happy.. there were grins on everyones faces...my classes were so relaxed and the teachers were proud of us... altho trying to get us to work on that day would have been really hopeless. my methods teacher announces as we go in... 'ok we're doing a practice exam...' what a way to burst our bubble.
altho double physics was great that day..... heheheheh i know... double physics... but when i tell u our teacher is JD an u know the guy, u'll understand completely.... lol....we were sposed to do a practise exam but i did all of 4-5 questions ALL lesson... heheheheh some members of our class turned up and mysteriously disappeared for a lesson of the double...... one guy turned up about 30mins late... with no explanation... hehehehhe and a few minutes later another randomly jumps up and says "i've got an idea!" and walks out, and they that turned up 30mins late jumps and and leaves with him.... they both didn't turn up until the second lesson of the double...
most of the time we just spent sining each others shirts and mucking around... it was great....
The last lesson of the day was spent just talking and waiting for the count down. my english teacher, gave us a little survival kit for the exam period....chocolate and herbal tea n stuff.. it was great...just relaxing..and reflecting over the year. of the first classes we had and who they were with...
and the count down and doing grammar war cries, we were the largest mass of unified people i've seen..then as we left the skool my yr level did war cries all the way back to the house and then we did a war cry with the rest of my house..
That nite we (by that i mean the yr12's in our house.)got dressed up cos div n dyzie were taking us to geelong. That was really nice... We went to a beautiful restraunt. La Parisen on the waterfront in geelong. it was REALLY nice. The waitresses even draped the serviettes across our laps... it was awesome... i'd never been to such a fancy place.
We travelled to and from Geelong on one of the school buses with woodbridge. The other girls boarding house. it was a really fun night with great company...
it was a really good day.....
it's been a really intense year.... altho it's been a crap load of work, it's worth every penny. And HECK NO would i ever repeat it.
