a blog from june......i call it anges theory of relativity

well....
for those of you who already know you can keep pondering but those of you who don't.... i give permission for you to think i'm a nerd... however i know for a fact despite all the evidence to the contrary i'm not.... hehehehe

my chem teacher was telling us the other day how scientists have been attempting to reach absolute zero temperature... meaning the lowest theoretically temperature that can be achieved, no particles moving. Many scientists have attempted but never achieved this nerdy feat....

however it is my theory that this absolute zero temperature is impossible to reach...

Now let me explain.....

One thing we are taught in science that temperature is a measure of how much the particles move? yes?

And we are all taught that EVERYTHING in this entire UNIVERSE is made up of atoms which consist of neutron, protons, and a couple electrons all depending on what element it is. and we all know these little electrons orbit the nucelues of neutrons and protons.

To reach absolute zero all particles would have to cease movement... but to cease movement for an atom... it would not exist. Therefore it is impossible to reach absolute zero temp.....

however this theory depends on assumed definitions.... that absolute zero is reaching a state where the particles cease movement.... and the movement of atoms are included in the definition of temperature...

so yes i admit that there are some faults in my theory... but just like all great minds.... they never got anything right the first time.....

well anyway..... we were in physics today learning about how matter can have a wavelength and how light doesn't have a mass...

However i struggle to believe this theory. a) light exist in this world.. and to me for it to exist it has to have a mass... yeah??
yet here my physics teacher is telling me it has no mass yet it has a velocity, momentum and all this other stuff... which are related to mass mind you....

and also a fellow student raised the point about black holes....
if the black holes in space suck everything into it including light....it would have to have a mass... cos for gravity of the black hole to suck in the light, the light would need to have a mass.....yet here we are being taught it doesn't have a mass... hmmmm...


a tidbit to chew over in your mind......
ah well... those are my thoughts......

well now those of u who have attend grammar would know of our annual chorals competition... and yes it has come to that time of year once again when all the houses get together to belt out a tune...

we had our first rehersal tonite... was quite well done for the first time...

although it will be amusing as time wheres on... the actions and moves to out song could get a bit over the top... hehehehe but its all good... esp when people get rite into it....

whell anyway.... this blog is indeed not very exciting but to be honest there hasn't been alot to blog about recently.

i could tell u about our kitchenettes here in the boarding house... but i would want to ruin ur appetite.... they can get quite shall we say..... dishes all over the sink, not stacked or rinsed for those on the roster to wash them..... and thats the beggining.

well instead of boring who ever may be happening to read this i shall depart... and let u go and do more exciting and productive or valuable things with ur time....
